Waystone is early and actively developed. These terms cover the basics honestly, but haven't had a formal legal review yet — treat this as a good-faith starting point, not a substitute for one before any real money or a wider audience is involved.
Your account
One account per person. Keep your password to yourself — you're responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old to register.
Development data resets
Waystone and Aetherfall are in active development. Characters, progress, and other game data may be reset or wiped without notice while that's true. Your account login itself won't be affected by this.
Acceptable use
Don't cheat, exploit bugs to gain an unfair advantage, harass other players, or try to disrupt the service for others. We can suspend or terminate accounts that do.
Ownership
You own your account and whatever you personally create with it (like a character name). We own Waystone, Aetherfall, and everything else we build — the platform, its games, and their content.
No warranty
Waystone is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, especially while in active development. We'll try to keep things running and your data intact, but can't guarantee it.
Governing law
[Jurisdiction not yet specified — to be filled in with real legal advice before this matters in practice.]
Changes
We may update these terms as Waystone grows. Material changes will update the date at the top of this page.
